Set in a rural Victorian town, True Love Travels on a Gravel Road is play about broken dreams and choices.

Jake has been patronised as the town “tard” all of his life but when he falls in love with the naïve yet knowing Maggie anything seems possible. Maggie’s dream of escaping her small town existence to visit Graceland, becomes Jake’s obsession and his chance to finally win in the town that has labelled him a loser.

Cast: Christopher Broadstock, Marnie Gibson, Emily Goddard, David Kambouris, Elizabeth McColl, Glenn Van Oosterom.

True Love Travels on a Gravel Road is part of Flashpoint, rehearsed readings of winning scripts from The R.E. Ross Trust Playwrights’ Script Development Awards.
