Leon and Francis share a bed and breakfast in a country town together with Ada, their landlady. After arriving home late one night Ada has some disturbing news for both her “guests” which will change each of their lives forever.

Originally commissioned by Melbourne Theatre Company and given a public reading in 2012, The Curtain remains, to date, an unproduced theatrework, written by one of our most produced playwrights, Daniel Keene.

Join us for a rehearsed reading of this significant piece of Australian writing with live Music provided by Rosie Westbrook, followed by a Q&A with director Beng Oh and cast (Paul Weingott, Gil Tucker, Debra Lawrance).
