Cyprus: A Fifty Year Old Republic at Risk?

A Public Speaking event hosted by Liberty Victoria with special guest Dr Van Coufoudakis.

Dr Van Coufoudakis will focus on the achievements and challenges facing the Republic of Cyprus after fifty years of independence. The  current  state  of  the  “Cyprus  problem”  will  be  examined in the context of the UN sponsored  talks  led  by  Australia’s Alexander  Downer  (Special  Envoy to the Secretary General), and recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Dr Van Coufoudakis is:

Rector Emeritus at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus
Dean Emeritus of the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University-Purdue, Fort Wayne
Professor Emeritus of Political Science
