greyscale spectrum marks George Papadimas’ first exhibition in his native Melbourne after a nine-year period of living and working in Ho Chi Minh City and New York City.
Papadimas has created a series of works that reflect his ongoing fascination with numerical logic and colour to explore themes of duality. Using multiple computer programs to manipulate colour and numerical information, Papadimas has created forms of highly saturated hues that are surprisingly biomorphic given their mathematical foundation.
