Streeton Trio

Formed in 2008 in Geneva, Switzerland from three of Australia’s leading young musicians, the Streeton Trio is the only Australian ensemble ever to be selected for the prestigious European Chamber Music Academy, where it has been ensemble-in-residence since 2010.

The Streeton Trio’s debut CD, featuring works by Ravel and Brahms, was released in 2011 and has been broadcast extensively across Australia and Europe to rave reviews (“There are many accomplished recordings of this wonderful work, and this is one of the finest I have heard.” – Limelight Magazine). Earlier this year they released their second album, Elation, which was immediately featured as CD of the Week on ABC-FM, 3MBS, 2MBS, Radio National and SBS.

See them perform at fortyfivedownstairs – just one stop on their Victorian tour, as this internationally acclaimed trio return to Australia.
