The Dollhouse

Nora and Torvald are cashed up and climbing: bespoke warehouse conversion, perfect children, and a shiny new job at a major bank for Torvald. Everything that Nora could want is due for Christmas.

A classic play masterfully transposed to contemporary domestic horror.

Hysterical about sex, money and property, subject to fierce yet mindless moralising, Nora’s journey from yummy mummy to liberated woman is one of the most famous in theatre history.

‘Breathtakingly simple and startlingly modern’ – Chris Boyd, The Australian 19/09/2011

Adapted from the play by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Daniel Schlusser, designed by Jeminah Reidy, costumes by Tiffany Abbott, lighting by Kimberly Kwa, sound by Martin Kay, produced by Sarah Ernst.

Performed by Nikki Shiels, Kade Greenland, Edwina Wren, Josh Price and Daniel Schlusser.

Patrons are advised that this performance contains strong, sexually explicit language and adult themes.
